Real hard copy books in the digital age. With everyone reading online, how can a print publisher like Math Paper Press keep books relevant? By leveraging on one key advantage books have over all web content: books never go offline.

Using simple HTML patches, we customised offline pages and turned them into book excerpts. So whenever people lose their internet connection in trains, elevators or underground, instead of getting an ‘offline page’, they get an ‘offline book’. Stories or passages from actual books that relate closely to the web content they are looking for. The work picked up a Gold Lion in the Mobile category at the 2014 Cannes Festival of Creativity.
